La Mémoire des Vagues
Animated Sequence for a Short Movie
2024
Animated sequence for a short movie “La Mémoire des Vagues”, by Sirius Films, based on an old Breton lore.
The animation illustrates a flashback sequence, with a voice-over from one of the characters. The client wanted a grungy paper cut-out look to fit the mood of the rest of the film.
Some scenes are animated thanks to a mix of rotoscopy made frame by frame in Procreate, and 2D motion on After Effects.
