Illustrations
Largely inspired by bande dessinée, with a clear line style, my illustration work comes in two distinct phases :
Younger, I drew inspiration from fantasy novels and movies, and dark science-fiction works. My preferred medium is pencil and paper, which I then ink over with fineline markers.
Later I developped an interest in character design and twisting the angles to create perspective. This time drawing inspiration from pop culture, bright colors and street art and fashion. All the while working around emotions such as melancholy or boredom ... waiting for something that never comes.

In a simple but expressive line I started caricaturing friend’s faces, and making up new ones to fit certain moods of loneliness, boredom, melancholy.
Raveillé·es is an endless wakefulness, a portrait of lost souls in the small hours of the night.
The style has been used on several projects, including street-art, painting, album covers and scenography.
